The activities will include information sharing about the Yeida Medical Devices Park as a potential investment destination for Japanese companies, support for startups in the medical devices sector through joint initiatives, and continued knowledge transfer and capacity-building efforts. A joint working group to oversee the MoU’s implementation will convene regularly to monitor progress and address challenges.

MoU signed between Yeida and Medical Excellence Japan

The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (Yeida) and Medical Excellence Japan (MEJ) signed a memorandum of understanding at Sector Omega I. Yeida CEO Rakesh Kumar Singh and MEJ CEO Dr Kenji Shibuya signed the MoU, which covers research and development, investment promotion, and technology transfer in the medical devices field. The MoU commits Yeida to provide infrastructure, regulatory facilitation, land allocation, utilities, and policy incentives for investors within the Medical Device Park, while MEJ will contribute technical expertise, facilitate Japanese medical technology firms' involvement, support research collaborations, and aid in knowledge transfer and capacity-building. A joint working group of representatives from both sides will oversee implementation, monitor progress, and address challenges. The parties also plan a series of activities to boost R&D collaboration, including sharing information about Yeida’s Medical Devices Park as a potential investment destination. Yeida is developing a 350-acre Medical Device Park at Sector 28 near Noida International Airport.
