North-South Corridor in Uttar Pradesh: Work to begin on Kushinagar–Zamania and Pipri–Prayagraj highway stretches

Uttar Pradesh plans to start construction on two major highway stretches under its North-South Corridor, beginning with land acquisition. The Kushinagar–Zamania stretch was sanctioned in FY 2025–26, and parts of the Pipri–Prayagraj corridor have already been sanctioned, with further work planned for 2026–27. The project aims to improve connectivity from the Nepal border to southern Uttar Pradesh.
