Phase II camera types and locations
Phase II includes cameras at 258 locations: 16 locations with full surveillance cameras; 86 locations with fixed general surveillance and automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) cameras; 93 locations with fixed cameras and 47 locations with fixed face-recognition cameras; and 16 conversions. High-resolution 4K cameras with speed and nine other traffic-violation-detection systems will be installed at Pataudi Chowk, Bilaspur Chowk, Basai Road, and the Sohna elevated road.
Phase I background
Phase I installed 1,200 cameras at 218 junctions using a 400 km OFC network.
Bidding window and progress update
Bids will be invited until April 27. About 30% of fibre-laying work is complete, with civil works ongoing at 50 locations. Outer areas such as Farrukh Nagar, Sohna, Pataudi, Dhankot, Chandu Bhudhera, and Hailey Mandi are planned to be covered.
