CBI arrests Biwal family members in Jaipur NEET paper leak probe

Investigators are examining whether the admissions of Biwal family members had any connection to the alleged leak racket. Officials are also examining the role of another suspect from Sikar who allegedly ran a NEET coaching centre that later shut down due to poor business.

Before handing over the case to the CBI, Rajasthan Police’s Special Operations Group questioned several students from coaching institutes in Sikar. Some individuals questioned earlier, including Rakesh Mandawariya and SN Choudhary, had not been formally arrested and may be released pending investigation.

Investigators suspect the NEET-UG 2026 question paper that reached Rajasthan’s Sikar district was scanned into PDF files before circulation. Dinesh Biwal is suspected to have scanned the hard copy and shared it digitally, reportedly obtaining the leaked paper from Gurgaon’s Yash Yadav for his son.

CBI teams conducted searches at the JamwaRamgarh residence of Dinesh and Mangilal, seizing documents and other materials. Investigators believe the brothers played a central role in disseminating the leaked paper in Rajasthan, though the original source could not initially be traced.

The Central Bureau of Investigation arrested Dinesh Biwal, his brother Mangilal Biwal, and Mangilal's son Vikas Biwal in connection with the NEET-UG 2026 paper leak. Police sources had earlier noted suspicion that four members of the same family cracked NEET and entered medical colleges.
